What happens if the underlying record changes?
The reference is live, not a snapshot. If a product's price changes, every thread that references it sees the new price next time you ask.
Can I reference dozens of rows at once?
Yes. Reference a table view instead of individual rows. Beya keeps the filter and asks follow-ups against the whole set.
Is this just an @-mention?
It's structured. An @-mention passes a string; a smart reference passes the record's ID, type, and live fields, so Beya never has to disambiguate.
